Christmas Craft Ideas

I found a really cute idea for reusing wrapping paper from the Dec 13th Woman's World magazine - the article suggests to take a small piece of cardboard and cover it with a piece of pretty paper, then decoupage it to seal it. Sounds like a really cute idea. I might even try it after the holidays.

I don't know about you, but I don't like craft instructions without a photo of the finished project, so I will only share craft ideas that have photos. Some ideas are from the internet, some are from magazines and others are from book I have. I hope you find something here that you can use. You can order a small stand up creche for only .50 Go Here to order. They make a nice, inexpensive gift.

One year I cut printed out nativity characters from a coloring book, cut them out, colored them and glued them to wood pieces that had been cut out in their shape. I glued them with several layers of Mod Podge. You could make a similar product by adding a little water to glue. It will dry clear and you have a sturdy nativity for young children.

On Christmas Day, I let each child hold the 'Baby Jesus' and they thought it was really special. I then emphasized the gift God gave us in His Son.
